A Whiff of Grape for the Knowledge Age was presented to the Whiff of Grape Club in Vancouver in November 2000. The club's name refers to Napoleon's dispersal of a Paris mob in 1795 by using the army to deliver a "whiff of grape-shot." The presentation introduces the self-serve economy.
