WRITE Conference

In 1994 Mr. Koty conceived the innovative W.R.I.T.E. (Writers' Retreat on Interactive Technology & Equipment) conferences focused on the emerging need for new media content. Notable W.R.I.T.E. '94 speakers included Howard Rheingold, Theodore (Ted) Holms Nelson, Mark Schlichting and Greg Roach. This was followed by W.R.I.T.E. '95 featuring Paul Saffo, Ray Bradbury and Linda Stone among many others.

Mastering Cyberspace

In the spring of 1995 Mr. Koty co-authored with David Orchard of IBM the first 100% online course from a Canadian University titled Mastering Cyberspace: A Guide to the World Wide Web.

This course has had registrations from students across Canada and the United States as well as Japan, Korea, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, England, Sweden, Luxembourg, Spain, Germany, Mexico, Columbia and Argentina.
